Understanding the Legislative Process NPA’s Early Career Psychologist Committee is hosting an event November 29th from 6–8 pm featuring two experienced psychologists, Will Spaulding, Ph.D., and Joe Swoboda, Ph.D., with a wealth of knowledge of the political and legislative issues that have been most relevant to the practice of psychology in Nebraska over the years. Their presentation is aimed at educating psychologists on the history and current status of political and legal issues that impact a variety of aspects of psychological practice including:
the availability of jobs, reimbursement in private practice, ethics, licensure regulations, and both historical and current legislation that directly impact psychologists and consumers.
Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served.
